Grace Gahan Interiors was commissioned to prepare this Portarlington home for market, providing complete property staging and styling to ensure it was presented at its full potential. Following a fresh repaint and new carpets installed on the stairs and in the bedrooms, the property offered a clean foundation ready for thoughtful interior enhancement.
Some existing furniture — including key pieces in the master bedroom — had been left behind by the previous owner. Rather than replacing everything, we worked strategically around these items, carefully refining the layout and complementing them with a soft, cohesive palette to create a fresh and elevated look. Through considered furniture placement, curated artwork, and carefully selected accessories from our extensive staging inventory, we brought balance and harmony to each space.
Staged during the autumn season, our design direction was inspired by a striking tree in the garden, rich with warm autumnal leaves. Subtle tones of rust, ochre, and muted greens were gently woven into the interiors, reflecting the natural surroundings without appearing overly themed. We believe seasonal staging should feel authentic and atmospheric — allowing prospective buyers to emotionally connect with how a home feels at that particular time of year.
